In this post, we’ll take a look at some of the best wide toe box cycling shoes, so you can find a pair that fits you perfectly and helps you ride your best.
Here are some of the best wide toe box cycling shoes that are currently on the market:
Best wide toe box cycling shoes
Shimano CT40 Cycling Shoes
I got a pair of Shimano CT40 Cycling Shoes and I love them. They look like more “normal” sneakers a bit and are easier to walk in and they are wide in the forefoot with a nice soft heel cup (I have quite a wide forefoot from being barefoot, but my heel is very narrow).
I also got Shimano A530 Sport/Touring Road Pedals which have clips on one side and are flatter on the other side (previously I had nice rubbery flat pedals that I could barefoot bike in but I’m doing the SF to LA AIDS Ride in June and needed to get more support for 60-100 mi rides).
Lake CX 241 Cycling Shoe
It’s no secret that finding a good pair of cycling shoes can be a bit of a pain, especially if you have wider feet. But never fear, because Lake has got you covered with their CX 241 cycling shoes.
These shoes are specifically designed for those with wider feet, and they come with a number of features that make them a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable, well-made, and breathable cycling shoe.
First and foremost, the shoes feature a dual fit adjustment system that allows you to customize the fit to your own feet. This is a great feature, because it means that you can make the shoes as tight or as loose as you need them to be, and you won’t have to worry about them slipping or being too tight.
Additionally, the shoes are made with helcor leather which is both high quality and durable. The leather will help to keep your feet cool and dry, even on the hottest days.
Finally, the shoes have a rigid sole unit that provides the necessary support and stiffness for high-performance cycling. The sole is also able to absorb shocks and vibrations, making for a more comfortable ride.
All in all, the Lake CX 241 cycling shoes are a great choice for anyone with wider feet. They are comfortable, well-made, and offer a great deal of support and stability. If you are looking for a new pair of cycling shoes, be sure to give the Lake CX 241 a try.
Sidi Trace 2 Mega MTB Shoes (Wide)
Sidi Trace 2 is quite light and sleek, making it a great choice for road biking. It provides great power transfer. The new outsole material, SR17, is lighter and provides great grip than the traditional competition. The aggressive tread design makes them a great choice for any type of riding from casual trail riding to cross-country racing.
They are great power transfer shoes and they are actually wide enough to call wide. The easy to use adjustments make them a great choice for those who want a wide cycling shoe. The PU inserts in the heel, medial, and toe areas of the sole help to keep your feet in place. The Sidi Trace 2 is a great cycling shoe for those who have pretty wide feet in the toes area.
The only downside is the price, but for the quality and performance, it is definitely worth it.
Lake Men’s Shoes Cx238
I have to say, I was really impressed with these shoes. I have a wide foot, so I often have trouble finding shoes that fit, but these were perfect. They also have a truly wide toebox, which is great for people with wide feet like me. The only downside is that they’re not the best for heavy sweaters. If you sweat a lot, you might want to look for a different shoe.
Lake shoes are on the pricey side, but they’re worth the investment. If you’re looking for a great pair of road shoes that will offer you comfort, stiffness, and adjustability, I highly recommend giving Lake a try.
