This is a short post, essentially a pointer to a new (to me, anyway) Web site holding a lot of excellent research data and information on barefoot running from Harvard University’s Skeletal Biology Lab.
One of the author/contributors is Daniel Lieberman, who’s particularly interested in the origin of bipedal walking, and the biology and evolution of endurance running. Recent articles by Lieberman have been pivotal in informing and inspiring barefoot runners.
All three of the above links are well worth exploring. You’ll learn a lot!
